SECRET OF SULU TOUR

Despite what is said online about the safety of visiting Sulu, there has never been a better time to visit, we work closely with our partners to ensure safety at all times, it’s our top priority. We have plenty of experience on the ground and you are set to have an incredible time.

The dry season in Sulu is the best time to visit. (November - February)

Registration with the tourism office will be handled by our local partner. Coastguard registration is required; the local guides will assist you with this in Zamboanga.

Please submit a contact form with your preferred dates, group size, any specific requirements or adjustments. We will then request a 50% deposit from you to be paid via Paypal or bank transfer, the remainder to be paid 8 weeks before the tour starts.

As standard we stay in dorms but resorts and double rooms are available at an extra cost, please let us know if this is something you would like to look into.

You can fly to Sulu but it’s incredibly expensive and flights aren’t regular. We opt for the night ferry, the times are convenient for our tours and it's a cool experience.

Sulu is predominantly a Muslim region but there are Christians there as well.

We suggest wearing comfortable clothing, dress modestly and please bring a fully covered swimsuit for the beaches (no bikinis).

The Tausug people have food that you won’t find anywhere else in The Philippines, every meal will be carefully planned so you get to try unique dishes to the region. Please let us know if you have any special requests or dietary requirements.

For solo tours / small groups, the tours will travel in 4X4, for larger groups, you will travel in a minivan. Any boat transport will be included in the price.
